Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee had a controversial exchange with the prominent black radio personality Charlamagne The God. The two were discussing Biden’s support among black voters and how he might decide to choose a black woman as his running mate.

‘I’m not acknowledging anybody who is considered,” Biden said. “But I guarantee you there are multiple black women being considered. Multiple.”

When A Biden aide tried to end the interview, the host responded by saying “You can’t do that to black media”

In response Biden said “I do that to black media and white media” and added that his wide needed to use the television studio.

He then added “If you’ve got a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or for trump, then you ain’t black.”

His comments have caused controversy with some saying Biden’s comments show his racism, while others say he simply mispoke and we should focus on other things he has to say.
